Siena-Montecatini-Florence-Bologna

As the blog's publishers, we apologize for the lack of updates. However, the previous hotel was totally stuck in 2001 and did not offer free wi-fi. No mom, I didn't forget about you, in fact, most of us bought something for our mothers on Sunday.
On Friday, we toured Siena, a beautiful medieval city complete with unbelievably narrow streets and plenty of charm.

We also took an excursion to Bologna, home to the world-famous Bologna Music Festival. We realized that this concert at the festival was one of the highest-profile concerts in recent Glee Club history, and definitely the most important concert that any of us have been a part of. The crowd consisted of students from the University of Bologna (the oldest university in Europe), and even some of the general public.

The concert went better than anyone expected, and we were greeted with long and loud applause. The concert was a huge success, and we are all very proud of the international reputation we are securing for the glee club.
The next day, we traveled to Florence, or Firenze, for a tour of the famous Uffizi galleries with originals from Da Vinci and Boticelli. We sang at mass for the church in Monticatini, and the locals there absolutely loved us, as we performed two "encores" after the service.

This morning, we left our wonderful hotel in Montecatini for a new one in Bussolengo. On the way, we visited the wonderful town of Verona, made famous by none other than William Shakespeare in Romeo and Juliet. We had the distinct pleasure of singing a couple of sacred songs in the parish church in Montecatini for some local parishioners who were there praying.

Tomorrow seems that it could be a highlight of our tour as we visit Venice. Don't worry mothers, we didn't forget about you.
